Women’s Vhi Mini Marathon For RWN
Would you like to run/walk the Women’s Mini marathon on June 5th 2017 in aid of RWN? We will be organising weekly meet & train activities around the county to suit every level and ability over the coming months.

We are raising awareness around the 16 days of action opposing violence against women through the #changetheconversation campaign We are marking the “16 days of action opposing violence against women 2017 campaign” by dedicating our shop window to raise awareness about abuse and violence.
Re-Opening of RWN Charity Shop Social Enterprise
You are invited to join the RWN Board, staff, volunteers to celebrate the RE-opening of the refurbished RWN Charity Shop Social Enterprise on Friday 1st December 2017 from 11am to 12.pm, by Cllr Orla Leydon, Cathaoirleach Roscommon County Council. The refurbishment work was partly funded by Roscommon Council Community Facilities Capital Grant scheme. We will also be launching our Creative Corner which was developed in collaboration with the “Find it, Fix it, Flog it” environmental Initiative in Roscommon County Council.

MindingMe Rooskey
MindingMe Rooskey is a confidence Building Project incorporating Art & Dance as a common focus. Each Monday the group splits into two groups choosing either Art with Francis or Furniture painting with Kay for three consecutive weeks. The last two weeks will involve Motivational Dancing. Its an inter generational Project inclusive to all, women and men, all ages welcome. A nominal charge of €2 per session. For more info call Maria on 087 4073321 or 094 9621690.
