Project Match Castlerea Family Fun Day July 2nd 2011
A total of 131 children between the ages of 7 and 13, their parents and neighbours enjoyed the family fun day at the Castlerea Community school, organised by Project Match Castlerea. A large number of volunteers shared their skills and talent, ensuring the success of the fun day. Along with sports games, there was also hip-hop dancing, face painting and bouncing castle entertainment for the children. Each child was also given a sports kit on arrival.“Project Match Castlerea is supporting the Castlerea community in working together. By community, we mean local residents, local agencies, local organisations and business, utilising all the available skills, talent and resources in a co-ordinated fashion to help meet needs and build a safe and healthy community for all.” Nora Fahy, Project Manager of the Roscommon Women’s Network and Chairperson of Project Match Castlerea.
The Project Match committee would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped out to make the day the success that it was.
