Circular Economy Innovation Grant awarded to CycleUp Textiles

Roscommon Women’s Network CycleUp Textiles announced as one of the 13 successful applicants in a very competitive Circular Economy Innovation Grant Scheme (CEIGS). Nora Fahy, RWN manager and Ruth Wallace, RWN Board director pictured with Minister Ossian Symth following the successful applicant announcement in The Mansion House, Dublin at the launch of the Circular Economy Hotspot Dublin 2023 on 29th May.   We are thrilled. This funding will help sustain and develop our CycleUp textiles Social Enterprise over the coming months.

Nora Fahy, Manager of RWN (3rd from left) pictured at the Announcement of the Rethink Ireland Awardees 2022   RWN CycleUp was delighted to be selected as a Rethink Ireland Social Enterprise Start-Up Fund Awardee for 2022 which will allow the CycleUp social enterprise to develop from the financial reward as well as benefit hugely from the mentorship and business guidance offered. Roscommon Women’s Manifesto group was founded in 2017 by Roscommon Women’s Network with support by the Longford Manifesto Group who saw the need in local communities for women to become more politically aware. Since its foundation its moved quickly off the mark by presenting at a Roscommon County Council meeting gaining the support of the County Councillors and CEO.
