The Women’s Environmental Community Activation Network -WECAN initiative is an EPA Green Enterprise funded project based on the success of the Upcycling Training Pilot Project by Roscommon Women’s Network in Castlerea and the development of the CycleUp brand of upcycled fashion and homeware items. The WECAN project will expand on this training around the county and grow the current model into a viable social enterprise providing training and employment opportunities for women in County Roscommon.

RWN has also been running the very popular ‘A Healthier Greener You’ course in conjunction with GRETB and Roscommon County Council and the Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund.
